Moves Walk Back to Audubon Park

NO/AIDS Task Force, a local nonprofit organization that provides services for individuals infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, is pleased to announce that the NO/AIDS Walk will be moved back to its previous location, Audubon Park. The date of the Walk has been set for Sept. 15.

After serious deliberation, and listening to thousands of participants and sponsors, the Walk will return to the beautiful, historic uptown park. The route will take walkers from Audubon Park, up Prytania to Napoleon. Walkers will then turn from Napoleon to Magazine where they will return back to Audubon Park for fun and festivities.

NO/AIDS Task Force is the oldest HIV/AIDS organization in the Gulf South. It has created a continuum of services that include early intervention services, prevention education, HIV antibody testing and counseling, community outreach, the Louisiana Statewide HIV/AIDS Hotline, mental health services, case management, housing coordination, meal delivery and a food back program.
